Hairspray star Nikki Blonsky and her father have been arrested after a bizarre brawl with a reality television star at a Caribbean island airport on Thursday, July 30th. Blonsky and her father Carl Blonsky got into an altercation with a former America’s Next Top Model contestant Bianca Golden while they were all waiting to board a flight.

Turks and Caicos Island police took father and daughter into custody as well as Golden after a violent fight that left Nikki wearing a neck brace.

The fisticuffs started in the departure lounge at the Providenciales International Airport after Nikki attempted to save five seats for her family and Golden had nowhere to sit. One member of Golden’s traveling group was apparently so badly injured that she had to be flown to Miami, Florida to receive medical care.

Golden has been charged with assault; Blonsky, 19, with actual bodily harm and father Carl Blonsky is charged with grievous bodily harm. He has been jailed and will remain behind bars until August 8, 2008. All parties are to appear in court at the end of August.
